Chapter 103: Ghost Amusement Park

The staff member smiled sweetly. “Alright, please wait here for your ride.”

Li Zhi wanted to take another look at the photo wall beside the passage, but both gates at the entrance had already closed. Clearly, players only had one chance to view the clues when they first entered.

Chi Yi noticed that the pink gondola wasn’t fixed—it would appear at the most suitable position randomly. As they approached, it just so happened to rotate back to ground level.

The two climbed in once again.

Outside, the staff member’s sweet smile turned slightly eerie. She cheerfully shut the door behind them.

The moment the door clicked shut, Li Zhi and Chi Yi both heard a loud clunk from the central axle—like some massive mechanism had just been activated.

In the next instant, the previously stable gondola gave a violent jolt. Chi Yi was caught off guard and flung forward, but Li Zhi reacted quickly, catching her mid-air. The two tumbled together as the intense spinning sent them rolling uncontrollably within the confined space.

Chi Yi screamed, “It’s spinning so fast! Like a fan!”

Suspended in midair, once the central axis began rotating rapidly, these gondolas hanging on the edges became like leaves tossed by storm winds—swaying violently up, down, left, and right.

They were thrown against the walls, then stumbled sideways. The interior of the gondola was smooth with no handholds—only two embedded benches provided any structure.

The Ferris wheel spun too fast this time. There was no time to react before reaching the highest point. This time, no one knocked on the door. At the peak, the gondola suddenly halted—and the door opened simultaneously.

A cold gust of wind rushed in. The male ghost who had taken their photo during the first round stood outside, camera in hand. His originally amused expression fell when he saw the two inside sprawled and disheveled, clearly having failed to pose with a heart gesture.

He glared silently at them, then slammed the door shut without a word.

Li Zhi immediately felt the rotation speed increasing.

They were like two leaves caught in a whirlwind. If not for shielding their heads with their arms, they’d probably be bruised and bleeding by now.

At that moment, both realized—they had to strike the correct pose for the photo at the next peak. Otherwise, the Ferris wheel would only spin faster and faster. Each round would become more impossible than the last. Once it reached full speed, the tiny gondola might even be flung into the air.

At this speed, they wouldn’t even land in the lake—they’d crash straight onto concrete and shatter into pieces.

“Zhi Zhi!!!”

Chi Yi cried out anxiously. Li Zhi let go of her, quickly scanning the gondola’s interior and estimating its size.

As their bodies were thrown against the door again, there was a brief pause. Seizing the moment, Li Zhi planted one foot firmly against the left wall, used the momentum to push off with the other, and stabilized herself mid-air in a split position.

Her long, powerful legs stretched wide, muscles tense beneath loose pants. No matter how violently the gondola swayed, her feet clung to the walls like magnets.

Chi Yi slid underneath those legs in a tumble, landing with a soft thud.

Chi Yi: “…………”

Audience: “…………”

Live chat stayed silent for half a beat:

[Those legs! Whewww—those legs!!]

[Sister’s legs aren’t legs—they’re spring waters of the Seine River! Please kick me into bliss—I’ll happily pass out from happiness!]

[Arms weren’t long enough to brace both sides, but legs in a split? That works. So very黎知.]

[Five-foot-three tall, six-foot-six legs.]

[This strength is insane??? In this kind of motion, she’s holding steady using leg power alone?!]

[黎知 could literally kick someone to death, no joke.]

[That pants are such a damn nuisance!!! Blocking my view of her thigh muscles! They must be rock-hard and perfect to touch!]

[黎知 really—she actually!! I can’t even describe it anymore—it’s pure admiration! Sister is amazing, I love her so much!]

[Wait, 黎知, did you train martial arts or something?]

[Last round, Perfect Match’s Du Jia with her long legs still needed two people to hold on. 黎知 managed it alone this time—no wonder she’s top fifty in popularity rankings.]

[Chi Yi is literally hugging a thigh now!]

[With thighs this strong, what are you waiting for?! Cast your votes, friends! 黎知 deserves it! 黎知 is the BEST!]

...

Inside the gondola, Chi Yi had already used that leg across her head to stand up.

She couldn’t resist giving it a quick squeeze.

Haha, definitely felt great.

Leaning against Li Zhi’s embrace, held securely around the shoulders, Chi Yi had never felt safer in her life. Happy yet worried, she asked, “Zhi Zhi, can you still hold on?”

Li Zhi tested her flexibility. “No problem.” She glanced outside. “We’re almost at the peak. Get ready for the photo.”

Chi Yi shifted along the long leg in front of her, making space for both to form a heart sign toward the camera.

The Ferris wheel moved too fast. Just after finishing their conversation, the pink gondola had already reached the highest point. The sudden stop nearly threw them out again, but Chi Yi’s grip on Li Zhi’s leg steadied her.

Thank goodness those legs were solid and firm.

The door opened. Seeing the two already posing with a heart, the middle-aged ghost finally cracked a satisfied smile across his paper-white face. He drawled, “Time for your photo. Ready. Three… Two… One…”

Click. The camera slowly ejected a photo. The ghost examined it, nodding in satisfaction. “Wishing you eternal happiness.” He repeated.

Chi Yi grinned toothily at him. “Thanks! We will!”

The door slowly closed again. The Ferris wheel finally stopped spinning wildly and returned to normal speed. Li Zhi relaxed her legs and dropped down. Her tendons ached slightly from the strain.

She exhaled sharply. Chi Yi eagerly offered, “Zhi Zhi, let me massage your legs!”

Li Zhi chuckled. “Sure.”

Viewers watching live erupted in shipping excitement. The Lizhi-Xi couple fans wore expressions of longing and jealousy.

Li Jianxi! What exactly are you doing?! You chased your wife all the way here—don’t tell me you’re still diligently playing ghost?! Prioritize, man!!

Soon, the gondola rotated back to ground level. The door opened, and the two stepped out. The staff member standing nearby smiled even wider than before. “Congratulations on completing Round Two of the Happiness Ferris Wheel Challenge. Here’s your reward.”

Seeming genuinely pleased for them.

Li Zhi said, “Alright, we’re done. Let Xiao Meng and Xiao Qi try next.”

The staff member’s smile faded instantly upon hearing they wouldn’t continue to Round Three. Shooting them a dark glare, she opened the gate.

The two walked out. The others waited outside.

Owen Dong immediately asked, “What was it like in there? Did you even get on?”

Chi Yi replied, “Of course we did! We did two rounds. The second round spun so fast—you should’ve seen it!”

Three shook their heads in unison. “Didn’t see anything. From our angle, the Ferris wheel kept spinning normally.”

Looks like non-participating players couldn’t see the real operation of the rides—likely another system safeguard to prevent rule leaks.

Li Zhi opened the pink box received in the second round. Inside was another clue card with a single image.

A puddle of blood.

Chi Yi wrinkled her nose. “What the heck is this?”

Qi Yongyi held the card under the light. “Just a puddle of blood. Looks like…” He turned to Li Zhi. “What was the first clue again?”

“Scissors,” Li Zhi answered.

Qi Yongyi nodded. “Then I think it’s related to childbirth.”

Li Zhi agreed. “Scissors and a puddle of blood—with clots and an umbilical cord. Definitely linked to childbirth.”

You Jingmeng suddenly recalled, “In the previous round, I saw a ghost called the Birth Spirit. It was a pregnant woman who died during labor. Could this be it?”

Chi Yi added, “But I also saw another ghost—the Blood Puddle Ghost. Its description said it appears when a woman dies during childbirth, carrying a red cloth bag filled with bloody stuff. Seems to fit the clues too.”

Li Zhi looked at You Jingmeng and Qi Yongyi. “We still need the third clue. You two go next.”

She carefully explained the Ferris wheel’s rules. Owen Dong, listening nearby, regretted not going himself. Originally thinking the challenge would be dangerous, he hadn’t tried to join—but now he knew it was just taking a photo.

If only he’d known earlier!

Viewers watching online couldn’t help but laugh at his pitiful expression.

“The second round will be harder, but with Xiao Qi’s strength, bracing the walls shouldn’t be hard. If you get different clues in the first round, you won’t have to do the second.”

You Jingmeng nodded, ready for action.

Li Zhi watched them enter the booth, relieved now that the death rule was clear. She leaned lazily against the railing, idly kicking her toe.

Beside her, Owen Dong sighed. “What if they get the same clue in both rounds?”

Chi Yi glared. “Jinx! Spitting three times!”

Owen Dong quickly slapped his own mouth.

The three waited outside. Chi Yi silently counted the time. After about one full rotation, she stood on tiptoe, peeking inside. Not seeing You Jingmeng and Qi Yongyi come out yet, she frowned anxiously. “Uh-oh. Looks like they got the same clue in Round One.”

Under the night sky, the colorful Ferris wheel continued its steady rotation.

After another full cycle, following their plan, You Jingmeng and Qi Yongyi finally emerged.

The three took one look at their expressions and knew immediately.

Sure enough, You Jingmeng groaned, “Both clues were the same. Scissors and blood puddle.”

Chi Yi shot Owen Dong a death glare. “Jinx!”

Owen Dong sheepishly scratched his head, asking Li Zhi, “Any guess on the third death rule?”

Li Zhi pushed off the railing with her heel. “I’ve got a pretty good idea.” She waved at Chi Yi. “Let’s go check it out.”

Though she claimed only “a little idea,” her calmness told the others she had already figured it out completely.

Watching the two walk away, Owen Dong sighed with envy. “Truly, the minds of experts are unmatched.”
