Chapter 2: The Overlapping Netherworld
My professional instincts told me to reveal the truth.
Clearing my throat, I announced, "This villa overlaps with the Gates of the Underworld. The yin energy here is several times stronger than normal. Staying any longer is suicide."
LemonLover: "Gates of the Underworld? Like… actual ghosts?"
WarGod: "Hahaha! If there are ghosts, then I’m the next Lam Ching-Ying!"
QueenB: "Master Lin, did you watch too many horror movies?"
Agent007: "This streamer needs a psychiatric evaluation."

Ignoring them, I activated my "Ghost Veil Sight" for a closer look.
It was Ghost Month—the time when the gates between realms opened.
Through my vision, the villa was shrouded in thick, eerie green mist. The moon above cast a sickly pale glow, unnaturally still.
And the Gates of the Underworld had opened right inside this villa…
I pressed on, "Is the front of this villa lower than the back?"
The three live-streaming girls exchanged startled glances before whispering among themselves.
"Wait… it is!"
"I always thought the design was weird…"
LemonLover: "Whoa, Master Lin got it right!"
QueenB: "Lucky guess."
I continued, "This isn’t just any villa—it’s a yin residence."
"A dwelling for the dead."
"As the saying goes: Yang houses bring fortune, yin houses decide life and death."
"Who brought you here?"
The girls’ playful expressions vanished.
"Gao Han!"
They looked at each other before one spoke up, "He said his family was away and invited us over."
I frowned. "Where is he now?"
"He went to get takeout… a while ago," said the blonde, Xiao Han, hesitating.
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
The other two nodded vigorously.
"Have you noticed anything unusual lately?" I asked, locking eyes with them.
They shook their heads, puzzled—until one suddenly gasped.
"Actually… I’ve been exhausted these days!"
"Me too!"
"The yin energy planted in you is spreading," I said gravely.
WarGod: "Bro, you telling ghost stories at midnight?"
LemonLover: "This is terrifying! Living in a yin residence?!"
Agent007: "Newbie question: What’s a yin residence?"
LemonLover: "Just searched it—it’s where ancestors rest in peace!"
Agent007: "NOPE. NOPE. NOPE."
QueenB: "Scam alert. I’ve watched this stream for days—it’s just a villa!"
The girls bit their lips. "Master Lin, it looks like a normal villa. Could you be wrong?"
Another wave of skeptical comments flooded in.
Unfazed, I said, "Check the basement."
After a brief discussion, two of the girls left to investigate.
Agent007: "Okay, now I’m scared. What’s down there?"
QueenB: "Is this just theatrics?"
WarGod: "Seriously, what’s in the basement? @_@"
The girls returned, uneasy. "Master Lin, what’s supposed to be there?"
My expression darkened.
"Urns. Rows upon rows of funeral urns."
I paused before delivering the final blow.
"I just confirmed it—this ‘villa’ was originally a crematorium."
